In addition to the wins over Somerville and Hopewell Valley, Ridge puts two more wins on the board with victories over Hillsborough and Rutgers Prep. Kevin Quigley lead the way during the last quarter of play tallying 6 goals to beat Hillsborough in overtime. In the Rutgers Prep game, seniors Matt Auletti and Richie McKenna tallied 6 goals and 3 assits to lead the Red Devils to an eventual 11-3 victory.On Friday, April 8, Ridge tallied 11 goals to take the win over Somerville. 5 different players scored for Ridge including a 4 goal performance by Matt Mullan.
On Monday, April 11, Ridge beat Hopewell Valley in overtime 7-6. Ridge could not buy a goal in the first period which kept the game close for the rest of the way. A beautiful crease pass by Dan Skea to Rich McKenna ended the game in the first overtime. Ridge overall record is now 2-3. In what will be one of the best HS lacrosse games of the season, Ridge took on #1 ranked BR in an early Somerset County action. Ridge opened the scoring in the first period with a rifle from Kevin Quigley. The game went back and forth for the remaining three quarters with Bwater tying the game with just under 2 minutes remaining. The game ended in an 8-8 tie. No score in the 1st OT and after the opening face-off won by Bridgewater in the second overtime, they were able to fine the back of the net. A great effort by the Ridge team.
