Ridge, with an overall record of 9 wins and 6 losses enters into the difficult Group 4 State Tournament with a first round game against Columbia High School. Come down to cheer on the Red Devils for this first round action. Game time is 6:30pm at Lee Field. Game day is Wednesday, May 18.

In addition to the wins over Somerville and Hopewell Valley, Ridge puts two more wins on the board with victories over Hillsborough and Rutgers Prep. Kevin Quigley lead the way during the last quarter of play tallying 6 goals to beat Hillsborough in overtime. In the Rutgers Prep game, seniors Matt Auletti and Richie McKenna tallied 6 goals and 3 assits to lead the Red Devils to an eventual 11-3 victory.On Friday, April 8, Ridge tallied 11 goals to take the win over Somerville. 5 different players scored for Ridge including a 4 goal performance by Matt Mullan.
On Monday, April 11, Ridge beat Hopewell Valley in overtime 7-6. Ridge could not buy a goal in the first period which kept the game close for the rest of the way. A beautiful crease pass by Dan Skea to Rich McKenna ended the game in the first overtime. Ridge overall record is now 2-3. In what will be one of the best HS lacrosse games of the season, Ridge took on #1 ranked BR in an early Somerset County action. Ridge opened the scoring in the first period with a rifle from Kevin Quigley. The game went back and forth for the remaining three quarters with Bwater tying the game with just under 2 minutes remaining. The game ended in an 8-8 tie. No score in the 1st OT and after the opening face-off won by Bridgewater in the second overtime, they were able to fine the back of the net. A great effort by the Ridge team.

The Ridge boys lax team fell to a very strong Moorestown squad in its home opener at Lee field. The game was tied after the first quarter then Moorestown broke it open. The final score was 14-5. Ridge bounces back against Somerset county opponent Bridgewater this Saturday at BRHS. 11am face off. Ridge HS 2011 lacrosse alumni and 2015 Le Moyne College Men's lacrosse graduate Kevin Kelly was selected in the Major League Lacrosse (MLL) supplemental draft for the 2016 season. Kelly will play for the Ohio Machine.
Over his career at Le Moyne (Division II), Kevin received first team All-American honors and helped his team reach the national championship twice and winning the crown in 2013. Over 75 boys will be attending the first day of tryouts/practice on Friday, March 4 to start the 2016 year!
Expect chilly weather! Congrats to the boys and best of luck this season! The Ridge Boys HS preseason youth clinic has been scheduled for Sunday, March 20. The time is 4pm - 6pm. This is the perfect opportunity for players to work on individual skills as well as game situations to prepare them for the upcoming season. This is also a great chance for new players to get a real feel for the sport and try it out! The clinic will be hosted by Coach Marsh - The boys varsity head coach and members of the current Ridge HS varsity team.
